Photojournalist and TCU professor, Robert Hart, gave the assignment to shoot an environmental portrait. An active weekend filled with Fort Worth Cowtown marathon madness, National Margarita day festivities, and Oscar awards, I was fortunate enough to be graced by Carly Cloud's presence for the portrait shoot. Using ISO 100, I proceeded to take a number of photographs of beautiful miss Cloud.

Carly is a vibrant and dedicated TCU nursing student hailing from beautiful Colorado. I share her love and desire for the adventure and adrenaline supplying snowboarding sport. On Sunday, February 24, as a blizzard touched down in the mountainous Colorado skies, Carly was in Fort Wort celebrating the frosted land from afar. She displayed her love for snowboarding in the following images.

Carly Cloud, a "Coloradian" with a magnetic personality, is captured on February 24, 2013 near her college duplex in Fort Worth, Texas. Her kind hearted yet adventurous soul is mirrored in her facial expressions and compelling gaze.
