Fill Flash

Hungry? The recently established Clearfork Food Park, located at 1541 Merrimac Circle in Fort Worth, is a great place to enjoy time with family and friends under the beautiful Texas sky. Clearfork is strategically placed off of Trinity River trails so that joggers, bikers, and leisure walkers will pass the festive scene. On Sunday, March 3, I ventured into the food park with Kristin Barnes to complete the fill flash photography assignment given by Professor Robert Hart. At ISO 100, with flash settings on, I photographed a gentleman who had just finished a 7 mile bike ride and was "yearning for some grub."

Gibby, 28 and currently living in Fort Worth, enjoyed an afternoon bike ride along the Trinity River on March 3, 2013, and ended at Clearfork Food Park. Gibby grew up in Maryland but has German and Italian background in his heritage. He is an avid cyclist and has enjoyed the food park since its opening. (TCU Photo/Kaia Naftel)
I also had the opportunity to photograph a Bill and Sarah Conn at Clearfork Food Park on Sunday. They were scanning the mediterranean menu for a hearty meal. They are Clearfork regulars and enjoy walking their dog, Misty, every Sunday afternoon.
